After training in Germany, since 1961 she has worked with her husband Gerald Weigel and they are now based in Gabsheim, Germany In March 2006 they were awarded the "Wirtschaftsmedaille" of Rheinland-Pfalz. She is a member of "The London Group", a group of six German potters who first exhibited at Henry Rothschild's gallery, Primavera in the late 1960s.
