	Paul ASTBURY Dates: b. 1945 Born in Cheshire he studied at Stoke on Trent and the Royal College of Art. His initial interests were in press moulded clay and assembly combined with other media, creating bizarre sculptural forms. His more recent work deals with the concept of 'transition' where slipcast, unfired, wet clay objects in enclosed spaces, build up condensation and merge and interact with their surroundings over time.
