Dan STAFFORDDates: b.1976He studied ceramics at Loughborough College of Art and Design , followed by an MA in Ceramics at The University of Wales, Cardiff (1998-2000). He is interested in exterior and interior perspectives influenced by city architecture. His work consists of 3- dimensional sculpture featuring geometric patterns which offer multiple perspectives of planes, edges and angles, developed using computer technology. His pieces are slab built with coloured clay, decorated with coloured slips using stencils, and fired in an electric kiln up to 1120 degrees C. |
