She leaves a white surface as a background for delicate and witty drawings of flowers, domestic objects and popular Welsh imagery which are made in to transfers and applied to the work. Her illustrations are affectionate references to the popularity of china displays on Welsh dressers, and the stereotypes of Welsh imagery of ceramic holiday souvenirs of the past.
