The Choir

Tableaux of a Welsh ladies choir singing from a songbook in slipcast earthenware. Each of the 6 Welsh costumed figures is a bell with an interior knocker and they stand on a circular base. The white surface is decorated in part with hand painted details and also with transfer printed designs which the artist draws before they are printed and transferred on to the surface of the clay.
