The Ceramic Collection

The Ceramic Collection is located in the Ceramic Gallery, Aberystwyth Arts Centre, where certain items from the collection are permanently on display. Some items are also on display at the School of Art. Items are also held in store in both locations. If you would like to see an item in store please contact us at least 2 days in advance to arrange a visit.

The Ceramic Gallery is downstairs at Aberystwyth Arts Centre is open:

Monday – Wednesday: 10am – 5pm
Thursday – Saturday: 10am – 8pm
Sunday: 1pm – 5pm

Entrance to the gallery and exhibitions is free. Occasionally the gallery is closed while exhibitions are changed or maintenance work is carried out, please check before you visit.

If you would like to check on any access issues before you visit the Arts Centre please call 01970 622882. Parking is reserved next to the main entrance approach for drivers with limited mobility. Two spaces are also available at the rear of the theatre, with level access into the main foyer.

Wheelchair access is available to all auditoria and workshop spaces in the venue. Access at ground level to main foyer and box office, by lift up to the theatre foyer and by stair lift down to the lower level. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcomed. Toilet facilities are accessible on all levels except the lower foyer.

The Ceramic Archive is based at the School of Art, Aberystwyth University. The School of Art Gallery is open Monday to Friday 10:00 to 17:00 but please call to arrange a visit to the archive as it is staffed on a part time basis. There is parking and toilet facilities for wheelchair users.
