	Liz QUACKENBUSH (USA) Dates: b.1950s Born in the United States of America. She trained in ceramics at the School for American Craftsmen at Rochester Institute of Technology. She is currently (2006) Associate Professor of Art at Penn State School of the Visual Arts, Pennsylvania. Her work is inspired by the 13th to 17th century ceramics of Iran, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France and the UK. Patching together these different influences to create individual pieces which link elegant china to domestic pottery. Many of the pieces are functional, the item in the collection being a creamer.
