	Sandy LOCKWOOD Dates: b. 1953 Born in England, Lockwood now lives and works in Australia. She studied at Monash University where she was awarded a Masters Degree. She specializes in wood and gas-fired salt-glazed stoneware and porcelain. The pots, thrown in wet clay, still show evidence of finger marks. Lockwood has travelled and taught in Europe, Asia and America. In 2003 Lockwood undertook a major project in East Timor to help local people set up a pottery making pots and water coolers.
