Bristol PILL POTTERY

Dates:

The area around Pill in Bristol, was served by the river Avon, the river Severn and the upper Bristol Channel. A long maritime history and the proximity to raw materials, made it an ideal base to establish a pottery in the 19th century. They produced slipware pottery.
