	Bruce WINN (USA) Dates: b. 1959 Born in Connecticut, he studied at Boston University and Cranbrook Academy, Michigan. In 1998, with Michael Roseberry, he set up the Roseberry-Winn Pottery in Providence Rhode Island, USA. which produces wholesale pottery and tiles. Winn's individual work borrows freely from past cultures including Japanese, Chinese as well as eighteenth century France and nineteenth century Britain, making his own personal statement about functional forms such as cups and bowls. He decorates his work by first drawing the designs with a wax resist and filling between the lines with glaze.
