UK PRIMAVERA

Primavera is one of oldest contemporary art galleries in the United Kingdom It was first estabished in Sloane Street, London by Henry Rothschild and is now found at Kings Parade in Cambridge. Since its inception it has been at the forefront of marketing contemporary ceramic art and a wide range of other contemporary crafts.

Henry Rothschild who founded 'Primavera' built up a personal collection of of ceramics, the majority of which has been given to the Shipley Museum in Gateshead. However, several significant pieces have been gifted to the Ceramic Collection at Aberystwyth.
